On December 21^th 2018, the students of Shanghai Xiandai Vocational School are taking part in the skill festival. Although the weather is very cold, the students are still very enthusiastic. The English speech contest on‘on admirable virtues’is being in held in the school lecture room in the morning.

  The judges of are made up of excellent English teachers and our foreign teacher Mr. Kegan Buth and the 12contestants were selected from different classes.

  Our contestants made their speeches confidently with great passion, expressing their views on most important virtues. Their standard pronunciation, fluent English, sweet voices and rich body languages caught everyone’s attention.

  The 2- hour speech contest ended, Mr.Kegan make a remark on our performance and told us how to improve our speeches .He said that learning English well is to better communicate with people ,to know the different culture and also bring Chinese culture to other countries. We hope more students will take part in the festival and create your own wonderful life!
